Foster Cats
When you visit Wags!, don't be alarmed if you hear a few meows! You'll often find a special cat or two from West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue, living here until a forever home can be found. Our WCDC foster kitties usually love visitors, so don't hesitate to take a moment from shopping to pay them a visit. We are happy to arrange before or after-hour appointments for people who wish to socialize with the cats one on one.

A Little About BC...
BC (which stands for Black Cat) is a great big beautiful hunk of affectionate, lovable kitty about 4 years old. He has short, glossy black fur, a big appetite, and weighs in at 16 lbs! This sweet boy LOVES attention and pets, enjoys having his tummy lightly scratched, and likes to have his fur gently brushed. BC is so outgoing, and makes friends quickly with everyone that he meets! He enjoys playing with shoelaces dangled for him, and will pick up his toys and carry them around--showing off his indoor hunting skills. BC was abandoned by his owner in the Prineville area, and rescued by a kind neighbor who brought him to Eugene. Unfortunately, his new owner is having severe issues with her back, and is now unable to keep him. BC is passive with other cats, and seems to be OK with mellow dogs. This wonderful boy just wants a family to call his own!
